Digital Direct
Who are Digital Direct?
It’s not a famous name with a High Street reputation, but Digital Direct is quickly establishing itself as a serious competitor in the marketplace.
For the past two years, Digital Direct has gone from a little known online electricals shop into a major player, due in part to its huge stock capacity, which aids product availability and delivery times.
What is Digital Direct’s website like?
The Digital Direct website has recently been overhauled and is now very easy to to use and geared towards enabling fast and accurate product searches.
If you really don’t like the colour purple you may be put off, as that’s the dominant theme of the new design and perhaps it could benefit from some alternative tones to lighten up the design. But aesthetics aside, the Digital Direct website offers a solid and convenient online shopping experience.
What are the best things about Digital Direct?
The people behind Digital Direct are keen to use their relatively small scale to their advantage.
While many of the industry’s giants are spending huge sums advertising their LCD TVs and other products on TV, Digital Direct plans to invest a little more into cutting prices for the consumer.
One look at the Digital Direct website should be enough to convince you this is a company whose selling point is focused on offering value for money, which can’t be a bad thing.
Especially impressive is the ‘Hot Deals’ section of the website which allows you to see the top ten best sellers which you can sort by price, brand or popularity.
What else should you know about Digital Direct?
If you’re ultra keen to get your hands on a beautiful new LCD TV but have a short term cashflow problem, you may want to consider one of Digital Direct’s finance packages.
Through a partner finance company, Digital Direct offer a ‘buy now pay later option, with the following terms:
- Minimum order value of £500 (that means most LCD TVs are eligible)
- 10% Deposit payable by credit or debit card
- Nothing to pay for nine months
If you settle the remaining outstanding balance before the ninth month is up you pay no interest which could be a real bonus if you’ve got a windfall coming up within nine months but are a little short of cash right now.
But - here’s the part where you have to be very careful - if you don’t settle the balance within nine months, you will start to repay the loan by 39 monthly payments at a hefty 29.8% APR. The monthly amounts you would have to pay are also calculated during the online checkout process. These terms were accurate at the time of writing but of course could be subject to change so please always check the details on the Digital Direct website first.
Before you go, save even more!
If you do decide to shop at the Digital Direct website after you’ve done your research, don’t forget to pay a quick visit to Simply LCD TVs before you buy to check if we are featuring any special Digital Direct promotions for that day.
